What is the Mammoth LMG?
Activision describes the Mammoth LMG as a full-auto light machine gun with twin reciprocating barrels, built around massive damage and manageable recoil. The trade-off is slower rate of fire, mobility and handling. In plain terms: expect a heavy weapon for holding lanes and sustained fights, not a sprint-heavy close-range pick.
The official notes also list a Prestige Attachment for it: the 14-inch MFS Cascade Barrel. Activision says that barrel removes pre-fire delay and movement penalties while firing, improves ADS movement speed, spread and recoil, but takes longer to ADS. That is worth watching once players start levelling the weapon, because the attachment sounds like it changes how clunky the base LMG feels.
