Strider 300 Loadout
By TourneyTime ·
The Strider 300 is the sniper to beat. Added in Black Ops 7 Season 3 as the fastest-firing bolt-action in the game, the Season 4 update pushed it straight into Absolute Meta territory — one-shot headshots at any range and a fire rate quick enough to punish anyone who survives the first round. If you want to dome people from across Verdansk or hard-scope a window all game, this is your gun.
Here is the build, why it works, and a faster variant for the quickscopers.
Current for Black Ops 7 / Warzone Season 4 (June 2026)
This loadout is current as of the Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 4 update (June 2026). Season 4 took a holistic look at snipers and removed the extra headshot bonus from the Sharpshooter Exotic Mod, baking it into the base power of the three bolt-action rifles — the Strider 300 included. Translation: infinite one-shot headshot range without spending an Exotic slot on it. We re-check the meta every season; if the patch notes move, so does this page.
Best Strider 300 loadout
This is the long-range one-shot build. Run it for Battle Royale, Resurgence, and Ranked — it does not change between modes.

Why this build works
Every slot here is buying you the two things a Warzone sniper lives or dies on — one-shot range and bullet velocity.
- 25” Bowen Grooved Barrel is the keystone. It is what turns the Strider 300 into an at-any-range one-shot headshot rifle. Take this off and the whole build falls apart.
- .300 WM Overpressured fire mods crank bullet velocity to roughly 1,330 m/s — about a 35% boost over base. That means less lead on moving targets and far less guesswork at distance.
- Monolithic Suppressor keeps you off the minimap when you fire and tightens the velocity profile, so your shots stay flat out past 100 metres.
- Carnation Fast Mag speeds up reloads so a missed shot or a downed enemy does not leave you holding an empty rifle in a gunfight.
- Hatch Quick Grip shaves your ADS time, which on a bolt-action is the difference between winning a peek and eating a full clip.
The trade-off is the usual sniper tax — slightly slower handling than an SMG-tier weapon — but with one-shot kills on the table, you are never trading bullets anyway.
Perks & class context
The Strider 300 is a hold-an-angle, control-the-rotation weapon, so lean into awareness perks that tell you when a push is coming.
- Recon / awareness perk — sense when an enemy has eyes on you so you are never caught mid-cycle.
- Footstep / tracking perk — louder enemy footsteps to hear a flank before it reaches your blind side.
- Movement perk — recover handling and reposition between shots so you are not a sitting duck after a peek.
Pair the sniper with a fast-handling SMG as your secondary for when fights collapse to close range — the Strider 300 wants distance, and you do not want to be quick-swapping a bolt-action in a doorway.
Aggressive / quickscope variant
If you would rather slide round corners flicking shots than hold a lane, retune for speed. This leans on the Strider’s fastest-in-class fire rate and trades a little long-range polish for snappy ADS and sprint-to-fire.

| Barrel | EAM PLYP-4 Barrel |
| Magazine | Carnation Fast Mag |
| Rear Grip | Hatch Quick Grip |
| Laser | 1MW Instinct Laser Array |
The EAM PLYP-4 Barrel and 1MW Instinct Laser Array dramatically speed up your ADS and sprint-to-fire, turning the Strider 300 into a genuine quickscoping machine for Resurgence and aggressive BR pushes. You give up some of that flat long-range velocity, so save this one for closer maps and run-and-gun lobbies.
How to play it
- Hold mid-to-long lanes. This is a one-shot-at-any-range rifle — let people walk into your sightline rather than chasing.
- Pre-aim head height. With the Bowen barrel a single headshot ends it, so park your reticle where a head will appear, not where a body is.
- Reposition after every shot. A suppressed shot keeps you off the map, but a smart enemy still triangulates. One shot, then move.
- Cycle fast, do not panic. The Strider 300 chambers quicker than any other bolt-action — if your first shot clips a body, the follow-up is right there. Trust the fire rate.
- Carry a close-range secondary. When a fight gets inside 15 metres, swap off. The Strider wins distance, not doorways.
