EGRT-17 Best Loadout — Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 4

EGRT-17 Best Loadout — Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 4 — Tourney Time Network

The old RAM-7 page is retired. The current meta AR people are actually building is the EGRT-17 — a Season 2 Battle Pass assault rifle with a fire rate that rivals the Peacekeeper and genuinely scary close-to-mid range damage. If you want a do-it-all AR that doubles as the best sniper support in the game right now, this is it.

Here’s the build, the variant, and how to actually run it.

That’s the meta sniper-support build. Suppressed, extended damage range, recoil pulled to a usable level, and fast ADS so you can snap onto a target the instant you swap off your sniper.

Why this build

The EGRT-17’s whole identity is its fire rate. It melts at close-to-mid range — the problem is its horizontal recoil, which can never be fully zeroed no matter how many recoil attachments you bolt on. So you don’t fight that with a long-range, slow-handling kit; you build it to win the duel inside 40 metres and stay snappy.

  • EAM Ibis Suppressor — off-radar shots plus a chunk of recoil control, the non-negotiable Warzone muzzle.
  • 19.1” XR-Compulsion Barrel — pushes bullet velocity and damage range so you’re not falling off a cliff past mid.
  • EAM Acute Mag — keeps you in the fight long enough to down and confirm without a reload mid-gunfight.
  • Nanite Grip + Buffer Springs — together these are the recoil/handling pairing that drags horizontal kick to a manageable level (roughly -28% horizontal, -24% vertical) while keeping ADS fast.

The result: snappy enough to swing on people, controllable enough to land the spray, and lethal the moment you swap off a sniper.

Class context — perks & equipment

Run it as sniper support behind a one-shot sniper. For the rest of the class:

  • Perks: Scavenger to keep that fire rate fed, Sprinter for rotations and repositioning, and a survivability/explosive perk (Adaptive) for the late circles.
  • Tactical: Stun or a Snapshot grenade to set up the swap-and-clean-up.
  • Lethal: Semtex or a Throwing Knife to finish a cracked plate.

If you’d rather solo with it, drop the sniper and run the aggressive variant below as your primary.

Aggressive / close-range variant

When you’re playing fast Resurgence and want the EGRT-17 as a primary in your face, swap to a movement-first kit:

UnderbarrelEAM Steady-90 Grip
MagazineEAM Acute Mag
Rear GripLTI Diode Grip
StockEider Sidestep Stock

This trades a little range for strafe speed, ADS and hipfire-into-ADS snappiness. It turns the EGRT-17 into a proper aggressive entry weapon — perfect for rushing buildings and winning the first-shot duel.

Prefer a longer-range profile? Run the Monolithic Suppressor, 16.5” Bowen Resistor Barrel, FANG HoverPoint ELO optic, Fuel Cell-X3 Mag and Frigate Control Stock — it’s the contender “long range” kit, slower to handle but stickier at distance.

How to play it

  • Pull against the drift. The horizontal recoil always wants to wander one way — counter-pull and your spray tightens up instantly.
  • Fight your range. You win inside 40m. Past that, burst in 4-6 round taps instead of holding the trigger.
  • Swap, don’t reload. As sniper support, your job is the follow-up. Land the body shot, swap to the EGRT-17, finish the down. Don’t try to out-snipe a sniper with it.
  • Use cover for the reload. The Acute Mag buys you time, but never reload in the open with this fire rate burning through ammo.
