The Carbon 57 has muscled its way to the top of the Warzone Season 4 SMG list, and it is not close. Massive mag, a fast up-close TTK, and — crucially — more range than any SMG has a right to. This is the gun you want strapped to your back when you push a building, and the build below is the one melting lobbies right now.

Why this build works

The Carbon 57’s only real weakness is that its base damage is a touch low for an SMG — so every attachment here is paid toward fixing that and keeping the gun fast.

14” Rockleigh Barrel — the non-negotiable. It stretches the Carbon 57’s damage range out so you win the medium-close fights that actually decide Warzone, instead of getting out-traded the second someone steps back ten metres.
LTI Stentorian Brake — flattens recoil and keeps the gun on target through the full mag, which matters when you’re hosing down a full squad.
Sapper Guard Handstop — a movement-first underbarrel. It bumps your overall move speed and cleans up horizontal recoil, so you keep the SMG’s signature mobility.
MFS Renown Plus Mag — the Carbon 57 already runs a huge mag; this keeps it fed so you can drop two or three players without reloading.
Accelerated Recoil System — the recoil-control fire mod that’s basically a default on every BO7 weapon. Tightens the spray, end of story.

How to play the Carbon 57

Pair it with range. This is your close-quarters tool — run it alongside a sniper or a long-range AR so you’ve got an answer at every distance.
Push with the mag, not around it. The huge magazine is the whole point. Commit to fights, beam the first target, swing straight onto the second — you rarely need to reload mid-engagement.
Use the range you paid for. Thanks to the Rockleigh barrel you can hold angles other SMG players can’t. Don’t be afraid to challenge at medium-close range instead of always needing to be on top of someone.
Move, don’t camp. Double Time + Sapper Guard make you fast for a reason. Strafe through fights, jump corners, and never trade a gunfight standing still.
