The KAR98k has been a fan-favorite since Warzone’s launch. It is a snappy, precise, marksman rifle known throughout the gaming community. Although it lacks the bullet velocity and stopping power of it’s older brother, the HDR, the KAR98k is the optimal bolt-action rifle for the aggressive player. With it’s quick Aim Down Sight (ADS) time it can be one of the most effective rifles, in the right hands.

However, this rifle is unforgiving. Nothing less than a headshot is required. This configuration balances the two elements required of a marksman/sniper rifle in Verdansk: aiming stability and ADS time. If you are able to hit those headshots, few can compete with you in the mid-long range. If you are accurate, this loadout works well for both passive and aggressive play-styles.
