AN-94 Best Loadout — Black Ops 7 & Warzone Season 4 — Tourney Time Network

The AN-94 is back — and now it’s landed in Black Ops 7 Season 4 Reloaded it’s one of the most satisfying assault rifles in the game. That signature two-round burst at the start of every trigger pull is exactly what BO7’s lightning-fast gunfights reward: huge opening damage that wins first-shot duels before the other guy’s even centred his aim.

Quick heads-up on unlocking it: the AN-94 dropped with the Season 4 Reloaded mid-season update on June 25, 2026, and it’s free — you grab it through the Nick Cage Event Pass, not the Battle Pass (earn XP to climb the event tiers and claim it on the free reward track, no CoD Points needed). Because it’s brand new, the community hasn’t locked in the “perfect” build yet. So here’s the deal up front: the loadout below is built from the real in-game attachments and the proven Season 4 AR-meta principles — control recoil, max your ADS and strafe speed, extend your range. It’s a strong place to start from day one, and we’ll tighten the exact numbers as live data settles.

Best AN-94 Loadout

This is your Warzone / long-range setup. Off the radar, extra range, recoil pinned, and enough bullets in the mag to drop a fully-plated enemy without reloading mid-fight.

Why This Build

The AN-94’s whole identity is that burst opening — those first two fast rounds do disproportionate damage. The job of your attachments is simple: make sure those rounds, and the ones after them, actually land.

  • Suppressor — staying off the minimap is non-negotiable in Warzone. Keeps your bullet velocity and range respectable while you stay hidden.
  • Long Barrel — pushes your damage range out so the burst still hits hard at the distances BO7 ARs actually fight at, instead of falling off a cliff at 30m.
  • Recoil Control Foregrip — the AN-94 has a snappy kick on that first burst. Taming horizontal recoil is what turns “felt good, missed two” into clean confirmed kills.
  • Extended Mag II — Warzone health pools are big. You want the rounds to finish the job without a reload tax.
  • Kepler Ultra 4x — a clean mid-range optic for picking your spots and laning down enemies at range.

The trade-off is mobility — the AN-94 already handles a touch slower than the snappiest ARs, and this build leans into range over speed. That’s the right call for Warzone. For faster Multiplayer lobbies, see the variant below.

Aggressive / Multiplayer Variant

Want to play it like a battle rifle on legs — pushing rooms and winning close-mid scraps? Swap the long-range pieces for speed and snap:

MuzzleSuppressor

OpticKepler-Pro Red Dot
Rear GripQuickdraw Grip
StockADS Movement Stock

The Quickdraw Grip + ADS Movement Stock combo is the closest thing BO7 has to a universal law in Season 4 — it makes almost any gun more aggressive and easier to use at the same time. On the AN-94, it offsets the slower base handling so you can swing corners and still land that burst opening before the enemy reacts. Drop the suppressor for a muzzle brake if you’d rather have even tighter recoil over radar stealth in Multiplayer.

How To Play The AN-94

  • Leave it in full-auto. The gun fires its first two rounds faster automatically — you get the burst payoff without ever touching the fire-mode toggle.
  • Tap, don’t hose, at range. Short controlled pulls let each trigger-press cash in the fast opening rounds. Spraying past the burst window is where the recoil bites.
  • Pick your range. With the Warzone build you’re a lane-control AR — hold angles, pre-aim, and let enemies walk into your opening damage. Don’t try to out-mobility an SMG up close.
  • Pair it with a fast secondary. The AN-94 wants a snappy SMG or a shotgun in the other slot to cover the close-range gap, especially in Resurgence.

Current for Black Ops 7 / Warzone Season 4 (June 2026)

This guide is current as of Season 4 Reloaded, June 2026 (Black Ops 7 + Warzone). The AN-94 went live with the Season 4 Reloaded update on June 25, 2026 — unlocked free via the Nick Cage Event Pass — so it’s fresh in players’ hands and hasn’t been nerfed or balance-patched into a fixed meta yet. Expect Activision to tune it once the playerbase figures out the optimal build. We’re tracking it and will refine these five attachments the moment the community locks in the definitive setup.
